Lauren Wheeler Artistry — Terms & Conditions
 

Booking Fee & Process

A non-refundable retainer of 40% is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due within 14 days of the invoice date. A booking is only confirmed once written confirmation has been received and the required retainer has been paid or your date may be released and made available to other clients.

Please note that your booking is only confirmed once payment is received in full and written confirmation is provided by Lauren Wheeler Artistry. We reserve the right to cancel or rebook your date if any fees are unpaid or late.

All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, a new quote will be provided based on current pricing.

 

Rates & Hours

• Full Day: Up to 8 consecutive hours from artist call time

• Half Day: Up to 4 consecutive hours from artist call time

• Overtime is charged at the agreed hourly rate and applies beyond the booked period

• Artist call time refers to when the artist is required to be present and commence services, not filming or shoot start time.

Scope of Services

Rates include one completed hair and makeup look unless otherwise stated.

Additional looks, major changes, or significant restyling are charged separately.

For home-based preparation bookings, services conclude once the talent leaves the property and do not include on-set touch-ups or amendments.

Travel & Expenses

Travel is charged based on distance, time, or return public transport where applicable from Lauren's home address of CV37 6TF.

Parking, congestion charges, tolls, accommodation, and other reasonable expenses will be added to the invoice where applicable.

Early Call / Late Finish

Early call times (before 7:00am) and late finishes (after 8:00pm) may incur an additional supplement as outlined in the quotation.

Usage & Licensing

Usage of images or footage featuring the artist’s work is not included unless agreed in writing.

Any social, press, editorial, or commercial usage must be licensed separately and will be charged according to agreed usage terms.

Cancellations & Postponements

• Cancellation more than 48 hours before the booking: Retainer is forfeited

• Cancellation within 48 hours of the booking: 50% of the remaining balance payable

• Cancellation within 24 hours or same day: 100% of the remaining balance payable

If a booking is postponed, the retainer may be transferred to a new date at the artist’s discretion, subject to availability.

Client Delays

Delays caused by production, talent, or third parties do not reduce the booked fee.

Overtime will be charged if delays extend beyond the agreed hours.

Late Payment

Invoices not paid within the stated terms may incur a 5% late fee after 14 days.

​

Health & Hygiene

The artist maintains a professional-grade, hygienic kit and follows industry sanitation standards.

Clients are responsible for disclosing any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to the booking.

Payment:

All payments must be made by BACS transfer.

Refunds

Lauren Wheeler Artistry does not offer any full or partial refunds for services that have been completed. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your service, you must notify the artist on-site during your appointment to allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues immediately. If no complaint is raised during the appointment, the service will be deemed satisfactory and complete, and no future claims will be accepted.

Lauren Wheeler Artistry is not responsible for delays or incomplete services caused by the client or bridal party members, including late arrivals, unnecessary breaks, or any other interruptions.​​
